DESCRIPTION:Tour of the Commercial Street Bridge\nLimited to 25 Attendees – Reserve Below\n \nJoin us for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the Commercial Street bridge project adjacent to the existing structure. Learn how innovative construction methods – including temporary foundations\, micropile design\, and soldier pile/lagging walls—are being used to keep traffic moving while building a major new span. \nSteel erection is underway\, foundations are nearly complete\, and by July 2026 the existing bridge will be demolished and the new bridge slid into place after a full Parkway closure. Don’t miss this chance to see complex engineering in action before the project’s next big milestones. \nPPE required: closed-toe shoes\, hard hat\, safety glasses\, & vest – project will provide if not available. \nParking is limited – attendees are encouraged to carpool.  Jobsite meeting location is the Nine Mile Run Trail Parking lot on Commercial Street\, Pittsburgh\, PA 15218.  If lot full\, the Edgewood Town Center parking lots could serve as a carpool location (Giant Eagle side near EV charging.)
