This project is a city-wide conversion of approx. 36\,000 high pressure sodium fixtures to LED. My presentation will include design details and a network lighting management system that would future proof the City for other smart solutions. \n\nDan Rodriguez\, E.I.T.\, Project Manager\, Department of Mobility & Infrastructure\, City of Pittsburgh\n\nThe SmartPGH project is a federal grant-funded project to modernize the City’s traffic signal network. The project will build a Traffic Management Center for the City\, as well as\, upgrade and expand the fiber communications system\, improve network security\, and install ITS devices across the City. There will also be physical intersection improvements along the major transit corridors (Fifth/Forbes/Second/Bigelow/Centre/Penn/Saw Mill Run/West Liberty).
