Please submit an abstract explaining your posters content and industry importance/relevance. The top three posters will be awarded with a cash prize.
- Students must be 18 years or older;
- Students must be enrolled in college or university in an undergraduate or graduate program;
- The student’s focus of study must be in engineering or sciences related to the water industry;
- The poster must be based on the student’s own work.
Please submit a 300 to 500 word abstract explaining your posters content and industry importance/relevance. The top scored abstracts will be selected to present their paper at the 2017 IWC in the Student Poster Session located outside the Exhibit Hall. The top three posters will be awarded a cash prize and certificate at the conference on Wednesday, November 15, 2017.
September 15: Deadline for submittal
September 22: The student will be notified as to whether or not their poster has been chosen
October 6: The student must submit their poster draft to the student outreach committee
October 13: The student outreach committee will approve the posters and/or offer comments using similar guidelines to those used in papers (e.g. lack of commercialism)
November 12-16, 2017: Present poster at the IWC in the Student Poster Session
