About the Presenter
Carson T. Carney, P.E. – Vice President of Technology Integration
Carson T. Carney, P.E. joined the Advanced Construction Robotics, Inc. (ACR) team as Vice President in 2019. Carson’s 26 years of experience in heavy civil construction allow him to strategically evaluate applications where ACR’s technologies can be most beneficial. Carson ensures ACR’s robots address the vital and existing needs of the construction industry as they are released into the market.
Carson has worked on major bridge projects throughout the United States as well as internationally, managing the entire project lifecycle from the earliest teaming, planning, and design stages to execution and handover. In Scotland, he brought together and managed an international team to design and build what was the world’s longest multi tower cable stayed bridge, the Queensferry Crossing. Carson brings great experience in construction management, product development, and business development. His passion for improving worker safety and productivity through automation coupled with his extensive experience within the heavy civil market gives him a unique insight into the benefits and value of our leading-edge technology.
Carson obtained a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a M.B.A. from the Pennsylvania State University. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Washington and a member of the Moles.
