Bus Rapid Transit Presentation; an ESWP Program Lunch

Allegheny County, the City of Pittsburgh, the Port Authority of Allegheny County, and the Urban Redevelopment Authority are jointly planning for a Bus Rapid Transit project in the corridor between the second and third largest job centers in Pennsylvania – Downtown Pittsburgh and the Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh. There will be an overview of planning, alternatives analysis, and outreach for this project to date in addition to an overview of what makes Bus Rapid Transit successful in other cities and what it could do for the Pittsburgh region.
