Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Project

A presentation on the project by Ms. Amy Silbermann of the Port Authority and Mr. Justin Miller from the City of Pittsburgh. The BRT project intends to link a roughly 2-mile stretch between downtown and Oakland. Often called “light rail on wheels,” BRT is intended to give a subway-like ride, use buses that operate in a dedicated lane, and make fewer stops than regular buses.
