Matthew F. Tobin, Chief Operating Officer

Matthew F. Tobin co-founded GridSwitch with his brother in June of 2021 and assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer. Over the past two decades, Matthew served as the Sr. Vice President of Engineering Services for Rolls-Royce Nuclear Group, responsible for the strategic direction of the Commercial Nuclear Engineering Services.

Prior to Rolls-Royce, Matthew oversaw Design Engineering and Special Projects for PKMJ Technical Services Inc. Matthew was the 12th hire of PKMJ and helped grow from that point to an engineering staff of over 300 employees under his direction.

Matt holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University.

Craig A. Burton, Director of Sales

Joined GridSwitch Asset Management as Director of Sales in April 2022 to support the growth of the microgrid division, backed by a prominent private equity firm. Brings over 30 years of sales experience and has worked in energy consulting since 2010. Previously held leadership roles including Director of Sales at New World Energy Group, General Manager in automotive aftermarket retail, and Senior Energy Consultant managing large commercial energy accounts. Has overseen multiple channel partners with more than $57M in annual business. Known for educating customers through a conversational, relationship-driven approach. Holds a B.S.B.A. in Marketing from Robert Morris University.
