Guest Speaker: Tim Kaiser – Technical Services Manager – Kosmos/Fairborn Cement Company
Tim Kaiser is a Technical Services Manager for Eagle Materials, representing the cement products manufactured by the Kosmos Cement Company in Louisville, KY, the Fairborn Cement Company in Fairborn, OH, and slag cement from the Skyway Cement Company in Chicago, IL. Tim’s background is in ready-mixed concrete and he has been in Quality Control since 1988. Experienced with concrete testing, Tim has worked for an independent laboratory and several concrete suppliers in Houston and Dallas, Texas. Tim is active on various technical, educational and certification committees with the NRMCA, including the state associations KCA and IRMCA (IN and IL), Ohio Concrete and PACA, as well as the Slag Cement Association, and is Past President (2012) of the Kentucky Chapter of ACI, currently serving on the Board of Directors. Tim and his wife, Crystal reside in Bardstown, KY, and have four adult children and three young grandchildren.
