ESWP Scholarship News
Congratulations to the recipients of the ESWP Members Scholarship for 2023-24!
The recipients are:
- Sara Sawford (Sean Sawford- father) ā awarded $2500,
- Paige Lanning (Jen Lanningā mother) – awarded $1600, and
- Austin Zeigler (Bill Laughlin ā grandfather) – awarded $1600.
ESWP Tour of the Airport TMP
ESWP Members enjoyed a tour of the Pittsburgh International Airport TMP on Thursday August 3.
ESWP Golf Outing
What a great day on the golf course! The ESWP Annual Golf Outing was held on July 24 at the Quicksilver Golf Club. We had a group on every hole to fill the course! The weather was great, the refreshments were great, the food was great, and the fellowship was great! Thanks for many sponsors who helped make the event extra special!Ā CongratulationsĀ to the 1stĀ PlaceĀ team winner from Michael Baker International. Michael Baker International also gets “bragging rights” for the gift basket gathering the most raffle tickets! Thanks to all our participants and sponsorsĀ for making it a big success!
2023 ESWP Members Scholarship
We are now accepting applications for the 2023 ESWP Members Scholarship.
The Scholarship is open to the spouse, children, or grandchildren (natural, step, adopted, or ward) of a member in good standing (one or more previous, continuous years) of the ESWP ā please note that only the individuals listed on a corporate member firm roster are eligible).
The scholarships will be awarded to outstanding high school seniors or currently enrolled college undergraduate students, preparing for a career in engineering, architecture or applied sciences. The students must be accepted in an eligible, full-time course of study, at an accredited college or university. The awards will be made without regard to financial need.
Completed application forms are to be submitted to the ESWP Scholarship Committee, no later than July 31, 2023. Please emailĀ eswp@eswp.comĀ to receive an online application.

Next up, join us on June 29 for a noontime webinar on PFAS presented by GHD.Ā On July 13, we have our next Trivia Night/Happy Hour, so get your team assembled now. Speaking of teams, how about a foursome for the July 24 golf outing! And looking ahead into August, on August 3 will have a tour of the Airport Terminal Modernization Project – space is limited, so make your reservations early.

ESWP News!
ESWP Member Reis Zandier from ACAA presented to students at Allderdice High School in Pittsburgh regarding her educational and career background in Engineering. Her feedback was the students showed a great deal of interest, asking a ton of questions, which is awesome!
