I am currently a student at Robert Morris University pursuing a degree in Engineering with a primary focus in Mechanical Engineering. As per one of my graduation requirements and for my future career, I am looking for an internship that will improve the practical skills we are not taught in the classroom. I have already had the opportunity to learn about different pieces of equipment an engineer would use, and I have great foundations in different coding languages and CAD softwares.

Engineer, project and construction manager, plant engineering site manager, and consulting process engineer for the steel and glass industries with over 30 years of experience in project and construction management.  Responsibilities included managing cross-functional teams on developing and executing various capital projects ranging from less than $1 million to over $500 million in size  Used project management tools such as Front End Loading (FEL), Continuous Improvement (CI), and Work Break-down Structure (WBS) in developing and executing projects.  Supervised process time-cycle modelling, developed project scopes, estimates and schedules, facilitated financial cost / benefit analysis, including discount cash flow and return on investment models, supervised applying for environmental permits, and managed projects from conception to commissioning and start-up, including developing specifications, reviewing bids, supervising craft labor and subcontractors, and coordinating equipment and material purchases.
