ESWP Golf Outing
What a great day on the golf course! The ESWP Annual Golf Outing was held on July 24 at the Quicksilver Golf Club. We had a group on every hole to fill the course! The weather was great, the refreshments were great, the food was great, and the fellowship was great! Thanks for many sponsors who helped make the event extra special!Ā CongratulationsĀ to the 1stĀ PlaceĀ team winner from Michael Baker International. 2023 ESWP Members Scholarship
We are now accepting applications for the 2023 ESWP Members Scholarship.
The Scholarship is open to the spouse, children, or grandchildren (natural, step, adopted, or ward) of a member in good standing (one or more previous, continuous years) of the ESWP ā please note that only the individuals listed on a corporate member firm roster are eligible).
The scholarships will be awarded to outstanding high school seniors or currently enrolled college undergraduate students, preparing for a career in engineering, architecture or applied sciences. The students must be accepted in an eligible, full-time course of study, at an accredited college or university. The awards will be made without regard to financial need.
Completed application forms are to be submitted to the ESWP Scholarship Committee, no later than July 31, 2023. Please emailĀ eswp@eswp.comĀ to receive an online application.
IBC News
The 2023 International Bridge Conference returned to National Harbor, MD over the week of June 12.
There were more than 950 attendees at the conference with representatives from at least 10 different countries. The 2024 IBC is headed to San Antonio, TX for our first move out west! Be sure to check the IBC homepage for all news!

The election for the 2023 ESWP Board of Directors concluded on January 31. IBC News
ESWPās 39th annual International Bridge Conference was held over July 17 to the 20th at the David L Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh PA. Nearly 1,100 attendees participated in the three-day event! Attendees were able to earn up to 18 Continuing Ed credits for their Professional Engineer licensure requirements. We celebrated a āsold outā Exhibit Hall that offered extended learning opportunities! One Day 1, the Opening Ā Keynote session was attended by over 500 attendees who heard from experts on national bridge Issues. Attendees were also able to take part in the IBC annual awards dinner, the IBC boat cruise, and a walking tour looking at the Sister Bridges of Pittsburgh. We are already looking forward to the 2023 IBC has the Call for Papers is open!
