IBC SETS NEW RECORD!
The 2024 International Bridge Conference was held over June 3-6, in San Antonio, TX. Nearly 800 registrants enjoyed more than 80 technical presentation and 20 extended workshops over the two-and-a-half day conference. Additionally, there was robust activity in the Exhibit Hall, where attendees could visit and learn from 90 vendors. The annual Awards Dinner recognized six different bridges, including Pittsburgh’s very own Roberto Clemente (6th Street) Bridge – congratulations! The ESWP staff reports that many positive comments from attendees were received about the program, venue, and overall experience! Oh yeah, about that record setting IBC…the City of San Antonio recorded a record high heat index of 117 degrees on Day 2 of the IBC.
