IBC Bus Tour Waiver

I, (named below) will be participating in the tour to be conducted in conjunction with the International Bridge Conference on July 15, 2025. The Beaver River Bridge Replacement Project Tour will consist of a considerable amount of walking on an active construction site.

I understand and recognize that there are potential dangers inherent in the construction or other activities being conducted during this Tour. In this regard, my intent is to be completely responsible for my own safety and to absolve the Engineers’ Society of Western Pennsylvania^® (ESWP), the International Bridge Conference^® (IBC), all Tour hosts, including their consultants and contractors (the “Hosts”), and all others associated with conducting the tour (collectively, the “Released Parties”) of any and all liability and responsibility for my safety, irrespective of any negligence or alleged negligence on their parts.

Therefore, in consideration of being permitted to participate in the tour, I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, my survivors and my estate, hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims (including claims for personal injury or death), demands, obligations, damages, costs, causes of action and/or liabilities of any kind or nature whatsoever, known or unknown, direct or indirect, in connection with my participation in the tour, irrespective of any negligence or alleged negligence on the part of any of the Released Parties or their respective agents, officers or employees.

In the event that any term or provision of this agreement shall be declared or adjudicated invalid for any reason, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the other terms or provisions hereof, which shall remain in full force and effect, as if the term or provision so declared or adjudicated invalid were not originally a part hereof.
